Meet The President

Caroline Watson has been a business executive and lawyer in the US telecommunications industry for over 30 years. Currently, she is President of Industry Transitions, a consulting company focused on traditional monopolies that are dealing with the impact of competition.

As an in-house lawyer for a regulated Fortune 100 company in the Southeast, she gained experience in both marketing and sales, where Ms. Watson was General Counsel until 2002. She has substantial experience on both the state and the national policy levels. Her broad experience includes the role of Vice President, Secretary, and General Counsel in a highly competitive computer company in the Midwest. 

Active in many industry forums, she is a Vice Chair of the American Bar Association's Communications Committee, which is the leadership arm of the Public Utility, Communications, and Transportation Law Section.
